We're looking for a dedicated and detail oriented Operations Back-Office Officer, (Banking ). The Officer will support the team in ensuring accurate and efficient day-to-day banking operations. The role involves assisting with account maintenance, payment processing, and data accuracy while adhering to the bank’s policies and procedures.

Position: Operations Back-Office Officer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with reconciliations of payments to Nostro accounts and address discrepancies promptly.

• Create and maintain customer profiles and internet banking profiles.

• Support account creation and maintenance operations for various account types.

• Ensure data accuracy across relevant systems.

• Collaborate with internal teams to implement new products in the bank's systems.

• Prepare reports as required.

• Provide support for customer queries and escalate issues when necessary.

• Contribute to the documentation of procedures related to back-office operations.

Core Competencies:

• Possess high-level work ethics and professional integrity.

• Ability to deal with queries in a professional and timely fashion.

• Ability to work with minimum supervision with a good eye for detail and analytical skills, good in prioritizing, organizational and time management abilities in order to meet deadlines and able to work independently.

• Be a good team player with excellent communication skills.

Education and Experience:

• A diploma or degree in banking, business, or a related field is preferred.

• 1-2 years of experience in a banking or operational role is ideal.

• Knowledge of SWIFT and SEPA payments is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively within a team and meet deadlines.
